Only tip is to release the surrounds from the inside through the fender well. Using a trim removal tool would be a PITA, whereas it takes 5 seconds if you can get your fingers in there to push the tabs that hold it in place.

Thanks for the tip!

Have you created (or going to create) a thread on what you did?

Sort of....

3/4 of it is just for the installation of fogs on base models that don't come with them.

Yep, the Mad I is still there and causing trouble on a regular basis, wouldn't have it any other way.

I wake up every morning feeling lucky to live in a place lots of folks take a vacation to visit!

Thanks for posting a much better pic of how the black surrounds look. Looking good.

hmm thats interesting. I chose to use a small flat head screw driver on the bottom most corner on the front of the fog light surround. Its pretty soft so you can mar it easy, so use finesse. But once you get in there you can pry out the fog light surround easily. it pops straight out.

super easy. Took me ~15 min total with 8 coats and a brief sanding.

thanks for the props, i'll post more pics when i get my lamin-x head/tail covers and my black vinyl roof.

Well, marring the bumper was what I was worried about when trying to hunt around for the tabs holding it. Also, with a fresh install, you have to put the lights in from the rear anyways. So it was just easier for me to reach up behind it.
