Oil Filter Wrench

The OEM subaru [2014] oil filter [aa15a] doesn't seem to have a wrench to fit it. There are 65 mm and 67 mm wrenches available at the auto stores, but the 65 is too small, and the 67 is too large. These is a 65/67 combination that sort of works but does grip really well. On line there is a 66.5 wrench that may work, but for $15 I don't feel like gambling. By crude measurement, it seems like a 65.5 or a 66 would work.

How is it possible that subaru had a filter made that doesn't match any of the standard wrenches.

PS: Yes, I know that most people use their fingers to tighten the filter. You don't have to post, I get that.
