My Subie is doing something very slight at highway speeds ... every so often it will have a slight hesitation/jerk when cruising at constant speed. It's hard to distinguish from road surface bumpiness, but I'm pretty sure it's in the drivetrain. Anyone else felt this? It's a 2013 CPO, so relatively new to me. Just took it on a five-hour road trip this weekend.
I have noticed the exact same on mine. Usually at lower speeds, like slowly coasting up to a stop light, and then it changes green. I've just gotten into the habit of very gently pressing the gas in these situations, seems to help a little.
Thanks. That's probably it ... it's probably happening as it needs acceleration to maintain speed after coasting on a slight downhill. Just feels like a bit of a stumble.
Thanks! I feel much better about it now -- was wondering before if I needed a reset or something.
Man, this car flies!
The 3.6R is noticeably faster than my 2013 2.5 Legacy accelerating at slow speeds, but where it really pulls away is when I have to pass another car at Texas highway speed -- for example, passing someone hogging the left lane at 75 mph in an 85 mph area in a short distance. I punched it today to shoot through a gap like that and it was awesome. Almost scary.
