2013 OB 2.5, 19,000 miles.
Died on my wife at the farmer's market when she put it in drive. No check engine or other lights. She limped it home 1 mile, and it would die whenever she stopped. Still no lights.
I get home, start it up, and it died when I put it in reverse. Started it again, and drove around the block. Died at the stop sign. Started it again. I try to engage the hill function, green light comes on. Try to disengage the traction control, and then it goes haywire....
Brake light flashes, AT Oil Temp light flashes, and AWD Traction control yellow light comes , with check engine light. Advisory states, "Check Engine" and "Traction Control"
Car is babied, with only 19,000 miles.
Figured the CVT went out... Is this common?
Thank goodness it's under warranty, but my wife is now wary...any car leaves her stranded twice and it's out the door...
Please tell me they this is just a fluke...very disappointed, and I'm worried about having to get an extended warranty.
It's been towed to the shop, so I'll know more tomorrow.
Thanks in advance for any tips or any help, or support.
