My dealer said 7,500. That's likely because it lines up well with every 2nd oil change. My understanding is that 5,000-7,500 is okay, you just want to be consistent.
I do mine every 5000. But here we have Les Swab's and they rotate for free.

It's part of my free maintenance, so I let them do it every other oil change.
In the past, I would normally rotate at 15k miles. Tire nazis will be aghast, but I've always gotten beyond spec mileage out of my tires (once got 65k miles out of Z rated Contis). Tire and oil nazis are hardly ever correct in their OCD complexes.
Canadain service is oil every 6k km or 6 months..which ever is first so I do my tires each oil change...
