I had my '11 Limited for three days when my brother-in-law and I went to pick up some food for a party he was having. It was dark and raining like heck when we got back to his house so I didn't notice the spillage until the next morning. The Subie tray did fine by me. Take it out, rinse it off in the kitchen sink, dry it and put it back. No problem. Would it contain a tidal wave? No. But do I think it is adequate for the typical jobs at hand? Yup!

I'm looking at Subaru's website, the cargo liner is supposed to be included in all models. The premium model I just test drove had one and it wasn't listed as an optional part on the sticker.

I just purchased a 2.5i base model and it did come with the cargo liner. However, it also came with the all weather mats option, so I am not sure if the cargo liner is part of that option or not. I'll be taking it back to the dealer shortly and will confirm with them at that time.

It's called a tub! Now I can only imagine what his definition of a tub is.

What you need is the "Deep Cargo Tray" which is not available in the US, but is in other markets (P/N J515EAJ100, retails in UK for 115.00):

That is very nice although it looks like it won't work with the pet barrier or cargo nets. From a strictly protection standpoint it looks like a winner. Looks like a Weathertec on steroids.
