Default Exhaust anyone?

Its been about 6 months now since I bought my First Subaru Outback, and everyday has been nothing but awesome driving my OB. I want to know if there is any kind of exhaust system I could put on my OB, because lets be honest everyone, we love the noise of that boxer engine growling! I just want to hear it a little bit better if you know what I mean. Ive been looking around and have not found anything.. maybe I'm just not digging hard enough, Any help would be greatly appreciated!

There isn't anything. You will have to have something custom made at a muffler shop.

Let us assume the rear bumper and the exhaust will cost ALOT!

It's a Tommy Kaira Gen 4 Legacy rear bumper fitted to the Outback/Legacy wagon. So I'm sure the exhaust is a Tommy Kaira also. JDM expensive!!

That rear bumper changes things maybe- if the only difference between a catback exhaust for the leggy vs the ob is the tips- turn down vs straight. Doubt it but maybe?

It is a very cool looking bumper http://www.tommykaira.com/tkcars/price/br/br_en.htm and exhaust http://www.tommykaira.com/tkparts/ex...exhaust_en.htm

Well going through the Tommy Kaira site.. found actual Gen 4 Outback kit and exhaust! Not sure if it's overkill for my 2.5i though.

I love the sound of the engine, but I don't need fartcans to enjoy it. I also know that people around me would have to put up with the sound if I did have them.

I am appreciative of the fact that everyone has their own tastes, but please be aware of the people around you. Every night my quiet neighborhood turns into werrrrrrrrrrrrrr as an inconsiderate person with a fartcan exhaust drives by.

I hope you live in a sparsely populated town where you can enjoy your new exhaust without disturbing others. Otherwise consider an intake modification. That way, only under load you can hear it, and instead of the sound being from your coffee cans, it's from your engine.

The fartcans would give the neighbors a nice respite from the pipes on my Harley Davidson.
