I just purchased a CPO 2013 Limited Outback in Ice Silver Metallic. Im still trying to fall in love with the color(the price was too good to pass up!)
Ive search for hours on google and this forum for pictures of Ice silver metallic with some mods done to it-havent had much luck. Therefore i decided to start a single thread!
THanks again!
I bought my 13 in February. Can't say this was my first choice color, but as a used car buyer I was running around town missing out on cars by hours. I love the car, and can live with the color. I've added a hitch receiver and under-bumper guards on front and rear. Congrats on your purchase.
Do you have any other plans for modifications/addons?
What receiver did you go with?
Ive tinted my front side windows to 35%. it looks good, but since they are lighter than the backs, it awkwardly catches my eye occasionally(i knew going in that 35 would be lighter than the backs)
If i had to do it again, id still be on the fence about 35 or matching the backs.
I Plastidipped the grill and lower brush guard. LED light bar below the license plate in that opening wouldn't look bad. Also considering Plastidipping the mirror caps
I have some coming, think it will make a nice accent to the blue/silver. I'll put up a pic when it's done.
Or take a pic of yours as is and play with photoshop.
Purchased this past Thursday. Love it. Was undecided between a Twilight Blue with slate/black interior, or the Silver. The dealer found me the Silver which I decided I liked better. If nothing else the lighter color stays cooler in the summer.
I like the premium wheels on the 10 model year. In fact they look better than the 17 premium wheels imo. Also, being the owner of a 10 and 16 sometimes I like the look of the Gen 4 better than 5 from a side profile
I don't have any Pics of mine but it is the Silver. I just want to say, I love the wheel arches, and the plastidipped front grille. I have a 3.6. I want to get a grille for the lower section of my front bumper, is there any way of getting something that is not $100? I will try to get some pics this afternoon.
Put the yellow film on the fog lights, used bright yellow film from Vivid rather than amber. When they're off the color seems (to me) to make a decent accent against the blue/silver.
I like that. I have some film to put on mine, I'm just figuring out how to tackle it. Do you see much of a difference at night, or was it mostly a cosmetic choice?
My previous was a silver Tacoma. 11, regular cab, 4x4, manual tran, windows and locks. Loved that truck but not comfy for passengers (or too good on mpg )
On another note does anyone know where to pick up the touch up paint for chips? I normally go with the 2 in 1 pens from Dupli Color but they only have the G1U in a spray can?

Regarding the stone chip touch-up paint, automotivetouchup.com has always provided a perfect match at a reasonable price to me. I have four different bottles for the four different vehicles in our fleet right now. Every bottle is right on the money every time. Could not be more pleased with the quality provided by this vendor.
Hello, new member here. I have a 2014 6mt. Upgrades so far-leather seats, cargo cage, hitch(dealer perks),tint, hid low beams,wheels/tires. 6mt is kinda clunky but love my car anyways.
