I checked the under-hood and dash fuse boxes and there was no indication of an "OBD" fuse. I read for previous generations it was a 7.5A fuse under the hood but saw nothing for the 4th gen. I was trying out my ELM327 for the first time and it wasn't pairing so I wanted to see if it was faulty or if the fuse was the issue.
Probably fuse #12, 7.5 Amps, in the engine compartment fuse box. In the Owners Manual. page 12-12, it's identified as "Engine Control Unit". (That fuse supplies battery power to pin 16 of the OBD connector and to the ECM.)
Thanks, I have to get an inspection today and I didn't want to pull anything that may cause the ECU memory to reset. Or maybe that's not a valid concern if the battery is still hooked up?
