Default Seat protection?

Can anyone personally recommend seat covers for an OB? To keep claws from going through the leather?

Was going to check LLBean but was looking for personal experiences.

I seem to recall something in the owners manual that recommended NOT using seat covers as this will keep the side air bags which are located in the seats from deploying.

Maybe try one of these. The side air bag warning is relevant.

Not saying they are not attractive, but Lord, I think I'd rather have a few tears.
Just saying....

i would recommend neoprene covers from wet okole or caltrend. subaru tells you not to buy seat covers cuz they think some idiot would get covers not designed for a seat airbags.

I have covers from this company. https://www.marathonseatcovers.com

They specifically make them for the model and year of your vehicle, and take any airbags into consideration. They are not really cheap, but fit very well.

I second wet okole. They do custom fits, they never wear out (in my experience) they add comfort warmth and are waterproof. The best seat covers i have ever owned - and i have had them on every vehicle I have owned over the last 15 years.

Default Covers

Thanks guys. I will check these out.

To be sure, the covers won't be on all the time. Just when I want to take the dog somewhere. Was only planning on having them in the back seat when needed.
