Default Supertones are in!

Check out my Supertones. They sound awesome. Install was easy.

The Subimods harness has a lot of excess in it. I didn't have time today, but soon I'll remove the grill again and splice out a lot of the excess wiring to clean it up some.

Supertones are stupid.

Stupid loud. And annoying. And quite frankly, unnecessary.

That's why they are on my car, wife's car, and my motorcycle. Good call, sir!

Good choice!

Did you paint them black, or are these a new version?

...another has joined the loud horned gang....welcome aboard...and yes they are loud and annoying...just the way they should be.

When I put mine in my wife asked "why"? I answered why does a dog lick itself?...lol

They came in black, I did not paint them.

They come in all sorts of colors, even hot pink...which I considered....just for a brief moment.

Sweet. I just installed replacement drop in air horns that someone else posted here.

Truthfully, it makes the Outback sound like it's got real horns and gets people's attention.

I do have the Hella supertones with the harness... but never got around to installing it. The direct replacement horns were just a ton easier as they don't use more current... Probably 40 minutes for both cars (we have a 2013 Outback and a 2013 Legacy).

I must admit, I'd love to hear a modded car with supertones!

LOL loud horns make for smarter drivers!

I need to do something to the stock horns on my Toyota. First **** week I had it I had three cars merge right into me **** horns can't even be heard inside the truck. BTW the truck is FREAKING RED!!! IF THEY CANT SEE ME. I need FREAKING LASER BEAMS to get their attention!
HA HA

Motorcycle I never bothered given even a loud horn won't keep most idiots from running you down. You need laser tracking missiles to get their attention.

...when I ordered mine I had a choice between black and red. I like the bright red...

Looks awesome!! I think hot pink would look sweet! You got the harness and bracket from Subimods, correct?

Super stoked to see another 4th gen mod thread. Seeing mpg, cvt, and "where is this squeak coming from" threads is getting annoying...
