Only tip is to release the surrounds from the inside through the fender well. Using a trim removal tool would be a PITA, whereas it takes 5 seconds if you can get your fingers in there to push the tabs that hold it in place.

hmm thats interesting. I chose to use a small flat head screw driver on the bottom most corner on the front of the fog light surround. Its pretty soft so you can mar it easy, so use finesse. But once you get in there you can pry out the fog light surround easily. it pops straight out.



super easy. Took me ~15 min total with 8 coats and a brief sanding.

thanks for the props, i'll post more pics when i get my lamin-x head/tail covers and my black vinyl roof.

Well, marring the bumper was what I was worried about when trying to hunt around for the tabs holding it. Also, with a fresh install, you have to put the lights in from the rear anyways. So it was just easier for me to reach up behind it.
