WD-40 works well as does regular wax. (turtle wax, meguiar's, etc)

The way I did it...was just to wax the car first. Then with the rag that I used to wipe off the wax, I grinded the rag into each section that had the grease gunk. That grease gunk is no joke will stick to everything and make sure you wear disposible gloves.

Nope. Sorry for the confusion. If you didn't have any Goof-Off on hand either WD-40 or any regular car wax on can be used to remove the substance on the lugs. It's also used around the door hinges among other places. it attracts dirt like crazy. I used WD-40 on the lugs. I found by accident that car wax works while detailing my doorjambs. I didn't want to worry about any chemicals eating the paint.

Picked up the OB from having the remote start installed, (have to get used to that **** thing turning off on me when I open the door) but otherwise I am happy I have it. Installed my hood deflector, LED in the DRL's and license plates, and Chrome dipped bulbs in the turn signals.

I know this topic was covered elsewhere on this forum but I cannot get the chime to shut up even if I do the 20 required clicks... I had no problem doing it on my 2010 Forester but somehow on 2013 OB I cannot do it. Anybody out there who did it successfully on 2013 OB (without diconnection or cutting any wires)?
