Okay so being that I am adding another set of Hella FF50 and maybe something else in the future (who knows) I want the install to be clean, so i purchase a small fused relay box, and a LED toggle switch panel. Instead of buying a light bar I am going to have the lights installed somewhat recessed under the metal bumper after I drill the holes and install the blind rivet nuts. I decided I am going to use a negative circuit to be on the safe side which means i will not have the LED functionality of the toggle switches. I will the other two swithces wired and ready for when i decide to add other accessories.

I had the dealer install the 19 mm rear sway bar (thank you SubaruOutback.org!!!!) on my 2011 Outback yesterday. A big THANK YOU to everyone who discussed this topic on SubaruOutback.org; for the past 1.5 years I always felt like I was fighting to keep a big elephant on the road at 65 MPH, especially in significant winds. When I found these discussion online I immediately said "THAT'S THE SAME PROBLEM I HAVE!!!!" I was no longer alone.... from my testing this sway bar appears to have eliminated 75% of the problem, though one always wonder how much the placebo effect contributes to one's perception. The car does feel stiffer, too, over potholes, which is an acceptable tradeoff, for sure! Long trips on the turnpike had become exhausting since I was always countersteering to correct the sway. Especially when an 18 wheeler passed me.

As a note, I tried to do this at home with lots of liquid wrench and a few six pointed wrenches and an Allen key, but I could not dislodge the 14 mm nut on the end links. There was already a significant amount of rust build-up. I did not have ramps or a lift, so perhaps I could have tried harder...but...after reading the horror stories of sheared bolts, I decided to let the dealer do it, and according to him it was straight-forward and did not require new end links (phew!). He also told me that they followed Soobie specs and torqued it, but no lock-tite.

I just -GOT- to get me a lift installed at home.

Default Gas

I filled mine with gas, and didn't need to take out a home-equity loan to do it -- mainly because I only had to fill half a tank!

Got my subwoofer today. Just have to do some research on installing it. Any recommendations are welcome! Im driving a MT. Havent found a spot to go through the firewall and trying to figure out which are the speaker wires on the back of the stock head unit.

Readjusted the Thule Atlantis 1600 that I purchased from Sport Chalet yesterday afternoon. Nice looking cargo box with about 1/2" of clearance from striking the lift gate. Moon roof is fully functional.

Any reason why you didn't go with Lamin-X?
