much better but still difficult to tell with the deflector in the way. either way thanks for the help.
took another photo, i am not 100% with it but it is better than the stock grill. i think i am going to take it to my friend's shop and have them spray it body color to match the rest of the car.

even with the brushed finish it looks out of place.
i think that body color is the way to go. would be nice if someone else had photos of it but if not i guess i'll be the first to post them. |

****, that looks good.
I'm not too sure how that would look on our brown car though.

car id has a nice mesh one, get that and paint it. thatll look nice or keep what ya got. i dont know why car companies expect people not born before 1950 or those living in the south to think chrome, cheap plastic crap at that, looks good

lol, no idea. i hate chrome accents and painted silver brightwork.
since i wasnt impressed with the outcome of my 'diy grill'... i took it to the body shop i use and they are spraying it body color to match the car. leaving the emblem intact/the same. anyone who has graphite grey metallic and is curious what the paint code is... it is F3T. if you have any other color and do not know the code, it is found on the passenger door jamb on a black placard. side note, i was tempted to get a quote on painting the complete lower trim body color as well but decided to pass on it. i think it may look tacky with all the extra paint work. |

same here, but at the same time a part of me is curious to see what it would look like... i think the end result will be a cross between tacky and disgusting.
i dont know if anyone has tried this or if it will even fit but this oem grill is a nice alternative to the ones that the US gets:
