Does anyone have the pics of the steps of the mod? They aren't showing up for me. Thanks

Default Rsb

I just put the 19mm in the back over the weekend - but - unlike others, I have followed Subaru's instructions posted earlier; i.e. removed old 16mm RSB with links attached and only then, switched old links to the new sway bar. In my opinion, it's easier to remove the bottom links from the frame than fiddling around with the top of those links possibly needing the allen wrench to prevent bolt sliding/turning.
Also, I suggest to raise the car on wheel ramps for an easier access. I also suggest spraying the bolts and nuts with penetrating oil the night before the installation.

I have done that install/removal three times. Twice on a new car and one on a 20 month old.(two winters) I did it without removing the end links from the frame. I thought it was a lot easier(less work) than removing the end links from the car and then from the RSB. Never needed an allen wrench. Tomatoe--Tow-mah-toe. YMMV.

Good for you - glad it worked for you that way. I did it the "other" way and it was easier for me to do it that way...LOL

I have to be honest. I never even thought about removeing the end link bottom bolts until you posted the PDF file. Ignorance IS bliss.

Oh well - the end result is the same.... there might have been some engineering reason why would Subaru do it in a different way than you did it! They also recommend removing the wheel... those union shops must have it an "easy" way so that technicians don't get injured...LOL

6) hang old bar from ceiling and do pull ups on it.

you literally could use a one crescent wrench (if your bolts arent rusted) to do this job. no need for lifts. honestly, changing the tire is more difficult.
Also, i always snap pictures before dismantling anything. common sense.

my stock 2013 does not seem to understeer much at all (off camber entrance ramps and curvy back roads - the front end does not push - if anything, there is almost oversteer - the back wants to break loose first).

I'd be curious about the difference with the stock bar and the strut tower bars though.
