Maybe its just me but the "badge of ownership" seems a bit silly. I just received a packet in the mail from Subaru and it contained information about ordering this badge. I guess its to make an owner feel like they are part of some type of club, which I guess is fine and at least it doesn't cost anything. I ride a motorcyle and received one free year in the Honda Riders Club of America but would not pay dues to stay a member since I saw no value in the club whatsoever. Being free I guess I will order the badge but for the life of me can't imagine what purpose it serves. Maybe I'm just a curmudgeon after all.

I got my "badge" a long time ago. It still sits in a drawer in my kitchen, LOL. They're even cheesier looking that they appear in the pictures, and honestly, I'm not all enthused about Subaru enough to be a rolling advertisement.

It's a cool idea for the Subaru community. I'll probably see a bunch of them up in the Tahoe area, where Subaru is the "official car of Truckee, CA." This quote was taken from a 4th of July parade there once, when the Truckee Subaru Brigade came through

I don't "get it" either; every car brand has enough advertising on vehicles.
I intend to remove the dealer's sticker from left side hatch. I also intend to remove the registration plate frame, which serves no purpose except a billboard for the dealer; they left out two of the bolts (screws), of which there should be four! |

LOL, that was my first "mod" (removing the dealer badge, along with the AWD badge on the rear hatch). Ironic because I like my dealership a lot more than I like Subaru.

I started once to try to peel it off, but was difficult. I need to find a solvent to remove the adhesive or the sticker, which is really many letters which must have a clear base.

Makes the back end look so much better and uncluttered. Now all I have is Subaru on the left (instead of Subaru, then "of Plano" and symmetrical AWD) and Outback on the right. Much more "symmetrical", LOL. |

I get it. It is just a fun way to "connect" to other Subaru owners while on the rode that you might have something in common with.
