Here's my list:

1). Base and Premium level trims with more durable (and less easily stained) seat covers.
2). HID head lamp option.
3). Transmission cooler (included on the 2010, removed on the 2011) for the CVT.
4). Factory installed 2" trailer hitch option.
5). Side mirrors with integrated turn signals.

I really doubt that we are going to see much improvement on the car. I think that Subaru is carefully controlling the content in the car to hit certain pricing targets. I don't blame them ... this is a business decision. Many of the items that people have requested above are already available on the OB in other international markets. The decision to not add these items and many of the other items listed must be cost related. Most of the things people are requesting have been available for decades on other cars in the market. Given the tough economy and pricing pressure, I am much more worried about changes that end up either reducing content or making the car a cheaper product. I would put the 2012 change where you can not add the chrome accent on the rear of the car now in that class. Rather than hope for a bunch of features that are not going to show up on the Outback, I would rather just get my list of features together and go find a vehicle that offers them.

Before we get to 2013, i'd really like to see the dealers actually stock the full range of OB models. Right now they are basically stocking Base+pkg11 and limited in 2 or three variants with the rare premium here and there and 3.6r engines only in Limiteds.

There is a rear view camera included with the sunroof package and I believe a rear entertainment package is available too. at least in 2012.

After 3 months, the main thing I would like is a height adjustable passenger seat.

You would probably be more at home in a Lexus than a Subaru ... well, at least until your car payment statement arrived.

Here's hoping 2013 will be a mid cycle refresh year:
1) EyeSight II system (from JDM models like Exiga)
2) Blindspot Monitor
3) Memory Seats
4) FB engine tuben for higer output than Forester
6) 6th or 7th gear tranny to replace 5EAT on 3.6 models - what f'ing year is this
7) More Soft-touch dash materials
8) Rain Sensitive wipers
9) Keyless ignition / entry (again from JDM models)
10) Some anti-sway bar enhancement to reduce roll

You modified your original post so the backup camera is gone (because you realize it's available?), but it IS available with the Moonroof package as another poster stated. My 2011 DOES have reclining rear seats (to an extent), as well as the hill start assist (right next to the parking brake button). You also removed rear seat DVD/entertainment system, you must have realized it's now an option on the 2012...

Keyless entry and start would be nice, the lights on the inside of the rear liftgate (like in the JDM OB), memory seat for the driver.
