Never had any problems with the stock RSB. Not sure where the need comes from. It probably helps in high speed cornering though buy eliminating some roll.

In the dirt - crawling very slowly over rocks, dirt, rutts, other stuff. It probably won't be noticed....

In the snow - using the bumper as a plow (that will cost you), crawling along with traffic. It probably won't be noticed.

On the highway - trying to get across miles and miles of interstates. It probably won't be noticed....

On the Coast Highway, mountain roads, twisting turning byways. It probably will be noticed.

Stop and go city traffic jams. It probably won't be noticed.

Maybe I'd notice it if I had bigger one.

I think it depends on where you spend the most time.

Can anyone else comment on how the 19mm Sway Bar feels offroad when articulating the suspension?

I am convinced I will add this soon. I hate the little a$$ hop this thing does on a lot of potholes.

I just don't like braking & wasting the precious fuel my engine just burned by slowing down for corners! RSB nicely flattened body roll on corners both in the city & back roads. I find that cars are just more pleasant to drive with an upgraded RSB & I have put one on the most of the cars I have owned starting with a 1969 Volvo 145S. In my opinion RSB are like a good drug (legal): Cheap, easy, & effective with minimal side effects.

Default Swaybar

I had one on my 2011 for about 6 months buy just took it off last weekend (it is listed on Craigslist for sale). It made a slightly noticeable difference on the road, but made a large negative impact off road as it appeared to hinder rear wheel articulation. When driving on gravel roads, the rear would just skip along making the ride almost unbearable. Since I drive on gravel roads a fair amount going to and from hiking trails, it wasn't worth it for me. The Outback will never drive like an wrx or sti, so why spend money trying to turn it into something it is not?

Excellent point! I was thinking to buy one, then gave it up. You are right: You don't expect drive a crossover like the sedan! Save the money for other more useful accessories like the HD cargo carrier. It looks beautiful when you put it on.

Yes...it is a difference maker in having the car handle like a whale to handling like it should.

Exactly.

Some people have an all or nothing attitude, and frankly it's quite silly.
