Default help! 2012 OB Shudder in the Driveline Normal?

Hello, We have noticed that our 2012 2.5i Limited has developed a shudder in the driveline while accelerating around corners, forward accelerations even at WOT are normal. Has anyone else experienced this? We have taken it to the dealer with this concern and they "relearned the transmission" code 3715 and while this helped with the "clunk" putting the OB into park it has not cleared up the shuddering. Does your 2012 2.5i Shudder?

Is this happening even on dry roads? I've noticed the VDC is not too smooth in operation when accelerating around turns when I'd lose a bit of traction.....

Yes this is constant. More noticeable on harder accelerations.

I think you are experiencing the same as me. From my research it seems to be normal.

2012 2.5i CTV with 800 miles and random light vibration when making 90 degree turns

I believe this is normal. We have an '11 OB and have always had a bit of noise and a slight vibration when making tight turns on dry pavement. I think this is a combination of the AWD system and the VDC both attempting to minimize wheel slippage and/or different wheel rotation speeds as the corners are being negotiated.

We have always noticed this kind of vibration/noise from our previous cars (Tahoe in AWD - Auto and 4 wheel lock, Honda Pilot in 4 wheel lock, and our '09 Impreza) when making tight turns.

Hope this info helps.

Have you tried the 19MM rear sway Bar? It will aid traction when cornering.

All of your answers are appreciated, and to answer your questions in order; 0-20 MPH,Wet or Dry roads, 3715 miles, stock wheels and tires, NO 19mm rear sway bar. I DO fully understand 4WD Bind and the characteristics of 4WD I own a 2003 7.3L Diesel Ford Super Duty 4X4 and the shudder is more like driving on rumble strips only not that severe, I think I will consult SOA today and see what they have to say about this matter. I didn't have a good time in service, I think they were bothered that I was there. Someone forgot to throw the service writer a piece of raw meat... Urrrg

It is a normal for this car. This issue has been talked about countless times with the bottom line of normal/ no probem found. I will say it will lessen over time but still be there.

Ahh yes, I see what you mean after searching the forums for shudder and transmission shudder, I wouldn't be alone if I were driving a 1997 wagon with 97000 miles on it. I have not found any threads with 2012 CVT shudder issues while cornering in acceleration. I not saying it doesn't mean they're not there, I have just been reading about older models with higher miles most of or all of without CVT.
