i saw on manswers about underwear with silver nitrate fibers and they're supposed to be able to be worn for up to 6 months without being changed. who knows if its true or not, on another note, im really hoping my 2 year old is done with diapers soon. oh and i think im gonna hold off on the grill until a decent one is available or i have the time and initiative to make one.

my nuts and washers finally came in today. put wheel arch kit and mudflaps back on, will put fender liners back in tomorrow. also have to grind away a tiny bit of plastic for one of the screws to fit a 1" washer/locking washer/nut, thats why there is a missing screw.

looked up DIY soundproofing and was recommended quick roof tape strips, looks the same as dynamat. hope it works well, only $22. i also found a 16 oz bottle of bacon salt for $16. much better than the 2 oz bottles i get for $5, i really do put that **** on everything! that 16 oz bottle should last about a month

oh, asking what bacon salt is, try it! http://www.jdfoods.net/ unfortunately there are no bacon air fresheners. i use so many air fresheners in the cargo area for the stinky dog and i have bacon roses in my vents up front. J&D's(makers of bacon salt, baconnaise, etc...) released bacon scented plastic roses. i bought some for my wife, cuz they weren't expensive and it was my pathetic attempt at romance, which is really just making her laugh. anyway she hated them so i decided at first to put them on my oh **** handles but my head was bumping into them so i decided to put them in my vents. i barely have a sense of smell, but at least it looks kinda nice. with the new radio dash kit and the roses, it changed my mind on wanting to paint the tan panels black. i probably wouldn't get it exactly correct and id probably have to redo it over time, plus the tan seatbelts would look stupid.

i took a picture of my bacon roses
![]() i put my fender liners back with 1 bolt in the front and 3 in the rear, because all that would allow bolts anyway the answer to any question about my car can be answered by this ![]() frankenlesbaru is probably more appropriate now with the bolts ![]() 1"x1/4" stainless steel machine screw with 1" ss washer and wingnut on front left fender liner ![]() where the bolt for other side would come thru in engine bay(under power steering reservoir). bolt for driver's side comes out behind battery. ![]() 3 bolts on rear fender liner ![]() a lot of work, but this crap shouldn't come off anymore!

Nice work Bradze! I saw your stitch work on the right front lower fascia.. Was that from the mud run?

no, the only damage i got from that mud run was a tiny dent in the passenger side front door from sliding into a big rock, but that was my own fault. about the bumper, last year when we had 1" of ice on top of the snow i cracked that bottom piece. i thought 5-minute epoxy from autozone would be enough to fix it but a few months later it ripped off completely when i got hung up on a small tree. that incident tore off the mudflap, fender liner, wheel arch molding, and pulled apart part of the front bumper skin. when i fixed everything i decided to do what drifters do for fixing ripped body panels, drilling holes and using zip ties in a stitching pattern, actually works pretty well. with all my reinforcements, i dont think ill have to worry about ripping that plastic crap ever again. now i need strut spacers, king springs, wrx wheels with real tires and to cut away the black plastic on the front and rear bumper. but all that can wait.
