If the notch is there, you could try using that thin neon accent/rope stuff. I forget what they call it, but you can look into it.

I wonder if it would be possible to just order the ring and use it in a 12 model?

I love lighting mods but with one exception - since the only benefit to a well lit plate is to make it easier for the officer to run when pulling you over for speeding I am just wondering - why bother lighting the plate better than it already comes from the factory? . The rest of the lighting mods all make sense to me.

Because it looks good. Personally, I could care less how well lit my license plate is at night...but i do enjoy the white led light over the boring dull yellow factory halogens

To add to what Boogie said.

It also makes sense to match all your lighting. If you have done a HID/led swap on your front end, than why would you want mis-matched lights on your rear? THAT doesn't make any sense to me. Besides, like Boogie said it just looks better.

The last thing I worry about is getting in a high-speed chase with a cop in my OB. Would be funny to watch tho.

If you want your car to sit even with that much stuff in the back, get a 1" front spacer and a .25" rear spacer if you go with the +15 rear springs. The spring rates seem a lot more stiff, so I swap from the 19mm to the 14mm RSB in whenever i'm hitting any dirt.

After a little research, it appears they did change the cup holder from 2010 to 2012.
Different part number regardless of interior lighting kit or not and about $10.00 more
expensive.
2010 = 92134AJ00A for $44.45 list
2012 = 92134AJ01A for $34.97 list

Can't tell if the ring is available separately.

Sweemz, as far as imagination, I'd already taken a piece of 1/4" plexiglass and made
a ring before I saw your photo of the ring. I stuck the lamps in evenly from the rear,
tho.

SweemZ- you are talking to the right guy. I have king springs, skid plates, and lift spacers from Primitive. In fact, my car is at their shop this week as I am letting them use it as a mule to finish the design on the tranny skid plate for the 3.6. They are a great shop- very knowledgeable, fair prices and excellent customer service.
