So, why did you buy it? If it hasn't given you trouble, all the knowledge you now have was available before you made the purchase........Were you not proactive, or do you just like to complain about stuff you pretend to understand?

My car has given me no trouble outside of being super picky about wheels being balanced (read only car I have ever owned that requires road force balancing), and excessive run out on the front rotors....TWICE, on the factory rotors and I do not abuse my car.
I love the car but the fact that there are/were shakers is proof alone of a poor or rushed design (and mine is not a shaker), not to mention that in theory according to all the MY '13 hype the front end has redesigned components. But hey, Ill keep complaining about stuff I pretend to understand. |

Hmmmm, a quick search turned up this info from one of the forums "I think most of us are hearing the noise after having driven for a while. The ABS self-test only happens at 10 MPH when starting out immediately after starting the car, it only happens the one time." which isn't what I'm experiencing -- that is, a noise within 30 seconds and a few feet of travel with a turn (out of a parking space). This only happens on occasion (depending on turn angle and length of time sitting).

I had a 2wd 4runner clunks from lock to lock. My friend had a lifted 4wd Cherokee clunk even more. Both had over 100,000 miles without any problems. I guess that is how they design the car so is somewhat more off road capable?
