I'm a maybe. I think the price is fine, but I would like to see the installation instructions and it would be nice to see an actual review of the installation process from someone who has done it.

What he said!
There's plenty of hitches available on etrailer.com for way less than $200. Can't remember which one it is, but one of them only needs 2 of the existing holes boring out a bit and the others match up. The torklift sure looks great though! |

I asked for a copy of the installation instructions. If I receive it then I'll post it up here (or may have to ask somebody to host it on a server).

Having said that, I still agree it's too expensive. i'd consider it around $200 also. I didn't buy my OB to be a show car, so seeing a hitch alongside my exhaust isn't a deal breaker for me. Nonetheless, I wish you guys luck. But honestly, even if you don't hit the 20, is $25 really going to be a deal breaker? |

I agree totally with you about not being worried about seeing the hitch at the back of the car. Who cares about that, it's an Outback not a Bugatti Veron

To me, it's not a better design. It just looks different. I understand the looks argument, it just doesn't apply to me. And $75 is a deal breaker. I'll budge $25 to get to $200, but the extra $50 will cover my wiring harness, draw bar and hitch ball. Again, I'm not saying it's a bad idea to get this hitch, but the aesthetic benefits don't outweight the cost for me. But if I thought it was worth extra money for the looks, $25 wouldn't be a deal breaker for me and I'd pay the $275 Differen't strokes for different folks |

Ask yourself if $50 is worth it to not cut or mangle your car, have a hitch that looks like it was designed to be there from the factory, and most importantly...
To reward a company that actually listened to the feedback from ONE customer to improve the product for everyone. I can't think of many times I've seen that anymore. (No, I'm not buying it - because I don't have this gen. car. I would if I did.)
