Default % Grade

Does anyone know the maximum grade an Outback (CVT) is capable of on a gravel road, up and down?

Too many variables on gravel for anyone to give you an exact number.
Give it a shot.

Most of the grade % are on dry land I believe. I have not seen one for gravel or anything off-road. Sometimes, it is the oil pump that becomes the limiting factor because on extreme grade, the oil does not get to the pump.

tires are gonna be a huge part of the equation.

found some videos like this;

but it may be more meaningful if each car had the same tires.
