Default Sirrius Sat fades in and out

Has anybody had trouble with receiving the satellite signal in their 2013 ? Mine goes in and out for no reason where reception should be fine, wide open highways, parking lots, in the middle of town with buildings no higher than 2 stories. I've had other vehicles with Sat radios and no problem at all. My previous car sat system worked inside our garage and even in the automatic car wash. Had it back to the dealer service dept and they said it was performing as it should.

Sure I understand that, this thing shuts down and the screen reads " No Signal".

We have had multiple vehicles with XM/Sirrius Radio. I only lose reception in the normal circumstances, parking garage, downtown with many buildings but have had no issues in the open.
I know that some of our vehicles have worked better than others when pulling into the garage.
Good luck,
Paul

My 2013 OB does the same thing. This is my 6th vehicle with Satellite radio and this one is by far the worst in terms of reception. Our is so bad it's almost impossible to listen to. I am going to bring this to the dealers attention when I take it in for the first oil change, although I expect the dealer to say there is nothing wrong. I may end up calling Sirius/XM and canceling the yearly subscription I just purchased last week. What's the point of paying for a service that doesn't work?

I called SOA yesterday and they said that they have not had many complaints on the Sat recepyion. They are going to contact the dealship service dept. and hook them up with SOA tech folks to see if they serviced it properly when they had the vehicle in the shop. This is our first Subaru and so far really love the car.I personally think the reciever is underpowered or the shark fin antenna doesn't work properly.
