Default Change to Kilometers and Celcius?

I just purchased a 2013 OB Limited from the US. Everything is great but the odometer is in miles and the temperature is in degrees F.

I could find nothing in the manual that shows if it is possible to toggle between the two like most vehicles these days.

Anyone else run into this? Any solutions? Distance is a simple in the head conversion but temp is a pain.

Thanks

I believe this is a dealer setting.

You're just going to have to learn to live with it.

Cannot be the "dealer setting" since the dial is printed on a metal plate with large "miles" numbers and small "kilometers" numbers.... The dealer would have to change the instrument cluster panel with those markings....

Easiest fix is to buy the Canadian model! Actually it is the only fix.

Looks like the cluster runs in the $230 range, I'd talk to a local dealer about getting it swapped out. I'd guess that the displayed temp is something easily changed without swapping hardware, but I'm not certain.

I think he is talking about the center panel display, not the dash.

According to the link below, all he needs to do is swap the display panel. That fixes the temp issue. He also created a custom circuit to alter the display settings for km remaining and fuel consumption

Converting trip-computer to Metric, anyone?

Changing the panel should be relatively inexpensive, at least compared to a dash and computer replacement.

Not sure what exactly is he talking about ... if it's the "odometer" - that would be in the instrument panel a.k.a. cluster and then the temp and trip A + B calculator, which would be in the center panel display....winnipegk5 should probably elaborate on this....

I can deal with the speedometer as it has both scales with the km being only slightily smaller.

It's the odometer and trip odometers that would be nice to change in the center of the dash cluster.

Also the temp read out in the center of the dash would be nice to toggle to celcius.

A lot of vehicles I have seen you can toggle between the two. Most Ford and Chevy products for sure.

But from the responses so far I am not hopeful.
