LOL - our 2001 legacy GT was 16.5 gallons and it was right at the edge as the wife put it.

The new OB - we just pick interesting places for the pit stop and like the idea that we don't need to pay the rip off prices at the only gas station around for 50 miles etc.

Friend has a MB ML 320 TDI he has gone 620 miles on a tank - he thought something was wrong with the car and called the MB hot line ha ha!!! Though that thing will bomb along at 100mph for hours without breaking a sweat awesome machine! The BMW is even more nutz.

I would have died and gone to heaven if Subaru came out with a 3L Turbo Diesel 7 passenger Up sized Tribeca - though I think **** will freeze over before anything like that ever happens.
