Its WELL worth the few extra dollars for a ONE owner car. That way you have maintainence records and can ask how it was driven..The OWNER can answer every question you have.
A 3 owner car...you are just guessing.. Trust me.....I have purchased over a dozen cars this way..it really is the best way for a used car. Good luck |

Agreed on the one owner car, but a private party is a private party. Not everybody keeps substantial records, and you're taking a chance when buying any car from a private party--and that is not a slam against ANYBODY. There is no recourse at all. We also, at work, deal with the GE plant right next to them, and the people there had nothing bad to say...
