Hey at least you got one... I happened to see it noted in some automotive news, still haven't seen anything in the mail.

Only special people at risk of it get the recall notice. Like me in sunny Southern California where I've never seen snow or driven on salted roads... Maybe they figure I'll drive in the mountains or something.

I don't think the dealers care! I live in Maryland and received my brake safety recall notice last week by email. I also received it on MySubaru.com. According to everything I've read SOA informed the NHTSA on March 26, 2013 and it is posted on the NHTSA web site. SOA also sent out a letter to all Subaru dealers on March 27, 2013 regarding this recall. When I called my dealership today for an appointment the service manager told me he could not inspect or repair my Outback because he had not received official word from SOA to do so. I've now gone back to SOA and still waiting for a reply. Is anyone else having this issue?
