Oil change and Sea Foam treatment. Made a huge difference in the get up and go.

Put my transmission back in and went for a drive. Raining here all day so pulling out, I got a little sideways. I've been driving the Cavalier too long. Its like going from a Cavalier to a Camaro V8 in throttle response time.

Got the rear bumper rearranged on my way to work.

Time to research decent repair shops in the area, and hope I just need a new bumper.

If you got touched like mine did, the driver hit me hard enough to leave an impression of her license plate, you'll need to get the framing straightened out where the bumper post attach to the car. There are 2 bolts accessible from inside under the floor panels on either side. You can remove the flooring and look down at it and you'll see if its bent downward or pushed in. The actual bumper was not damaged. That's a tough piece of plastic.

Mine required a few bumps to push the frame back up on both sides, a lot of loose parts such as fasteners, supports and both hangers that mount under the lights, new skin with a paint job. The insurance settled at 1700 and I fixed it.

Had an extra set of headlights from a GT that I painted a few weekends ago. The chrome on the inside where I taped it when I painted them, peeled off with the tape. Now I get to take the ones in the Outback out and do those ones

I installed an HID kit, since I had a blown headlight anyway. WOW! What a difference! I really missed having HIDs. They seem to aimed nice and low. I might have to tweak the driver's side down just a hair.

To sum it up, had viberation and found it was inner front right C/v had play. So I got up at 3:30 am to change it and by 5:20 am finished, BUT there was antifreeze on the rack for the power steering. So I opened the garage door, Brrr (-12) outside, started the subbie, and crawled underneath to watch. Drip drip, one drop every 5 seconds $**^# Jammed my head and trouble light all around under there and saw it dripping from the rear head gasket on drivers side. Now I am scratching my head as to what to do????
