Update....

So after 2 months of use, she loves the remote start.

She has had problems twice:
The remote start came with its own remote which also controls door locks. Once for unknown reason the remote start's remote did not turn off the security system and the car alarm blew the horn. The original car remote was required to reset.
The second occasion she started the car remotely, entered the car and turned the key in the ignition before pressing the brake pedal to shut off the motor. This shut down the car immobilizer system and she could not start the car. In order to reset the immobilizer and get the car started she had to use the
CAR IMMOBILIZER RESET PROCEDURE:
cycle the key in the ignition 8 times.

Lessons learned:
keep original remotes with you at all times.
press brake pedal to shut off remotely started car before cycling ignition.
know reset procedure above.

She loves the remote starter though.
