Default Rear cup holder?

I'm looking for the rear cup holder for a '99 Outback. Recently bought the car, love it to pieces, and I want it as complete and clean as possible.

Just the cup holder itself is broken, but the surround that screws into the back of the center console (which the cup holder itself screws into) is scuffed as heck so I wouldn't mind getting both if I can get them as a set.

I've looked at a ton of Subaru parts sites, does anyone have any pointers aside from a visit to the junkyard?

Thanks!

Plenty of cars don't have them, mine doesn't.

lots of these broke off due to people not following the sticker to fold up the cupholder when changing the back seat and fold it down.
hard to find good used ones...that aren't broken too.

I found one for my 2000 from someone parting out a car. They are as rare as hen's teeth. I threatened to break my kids legs if they did not fold it up before leaving the car.

They sell the same design cup holder at bass pro and cabelas for boats. It may require some work to get it into the original mount. I planned to get one for my '98, but the car is gone now and never got around to it.

Thanks for the help guys, I ended up buying a brand new "universal" cupholder from eBay for $9, then broke out the Dremel to make it fit. Some careful cutting and sanding and I daresay you wouldn't notice that it's not the original part.

PICTURES! A short write-up of how you did it would make you a hero to other folks here who are looking for an alternative rear cup holder.

When it comes to front (between the front seats) cup holders, Wallyworld sells these inserts as well... my 2010 Forester had "square" cup holders and I bought inserts in Wallyworld so that it could hold round bottles.

An alternative was to drink Fiji Water (or use their bottles) - those bottles are square and fit exactly into Forester's cup holders...LOL
