Issues with Front Passenger Window Switch

Hi- New to the forums (and to Subaru). I purchased a 2015 2.5i Limited (no EyeSight, moon roof, or nav) in early December. It's been fine so far (no wind noise issues) but I just discovered issues with the front passenger window:

- The driver side switch for the passenger side window doesn't work at all.
- The passenger side switch for the passenger side window will raise and lower the window but Auto (one click) mode doesn't work.

Has anyone else encountered this problem? Any idea what may have caused it?

My battery died a week or so ago when it was parked at the airport with a rear cabin light left on. Maybe that had something to do with it? I don't know if it worked before that or not (can't recall if I ever tried it).

I'm scheduled to take it to the dealer tomorrow to have it checked out.

I've had the same issue intermittently, 2-3x in past few months.

It is not the same thing as described in the manual, though that's great to know.

The driver's side window works fine, but pass side doesn't work at all from drivers and auto doesn't work on pass side from pass side. Not sure I've tried rears during one of these episodes.

It does recover on its own, usually after stoping and restarting engine.

Asked dealer about it but was working at the time and they had no clue.

Hmmmmm

New member here. Thanks for your help in this situation! My wife's 3 month old car was in getting a door ding removed. After getting it back, she found her car doing this. I took the door apart thinking that they damaged wiring inside. After giving up and putting it back together, I found this solution. Saved us a call to the dealer!!

Based on your experience with the window problems any idea what I may be looking at?

All of a sudden my drivers side window will go down, but will only go up about 1/3 (slowly) and then stops, can go down again but every time stops at 1/3 up , all other windows work fine. 2011 Outback

Any idea what this is? regulator, motor, switch etc. and how to fix it.

Thanks

Mine did the same after a battery swap. I hate this car.

Easy to reset window switches. This video demonstrates how to do it at 2:44
