2nd day with my 2016 OB 3.6R. The lock/unlock switch on the passenger arm rest does not illuminate at night, nor does the windows lock switch on the driver's arm rest. Is this normal? Everything else lights up red at night.
I believe that is how they work on my '15 OB and my wife's '14 Forester....have always found it strange why they just didn't use illuminated switches across the board.
Has anyone taken one of the switches out and looked at it?
Reason I am asking is on my 2001 Focus the door lock switches did not light up. Someone discovered that the LED's were in the switches but had not been connected. 4 12" pieces of wire and 1/2 hour later I had lighted door lock switches.
Question. When you open the driver's door does the unlock/lock switch illuminate? Can't see anything at night when opening my door. Even stranger - when exiting, only the mirror control lights up. Makes no sense.
