AAAAA Mystery *BOP* over the radio - HELP

My sanity rests in the forum's hand:

The past three days I have had this mystery *BOP* come over the speakers in the car.

Not the *ding* of the cruise control...
Not the *beepbeepbeep* of the lane thingie...
Not the other mysterious *airplane chime*...

But a *BOP*. Like every 90 seconds.

I've turned the car on and off.
I've turned the phone on and off.
I've turned the Bluetooth on and off.
I've reset all settings to "default".
(I haven't turned the radio off, tho, come to think of it....)

And, still, a *BOP*. Every. 90. Seconds (give or take).

If this keeps up, it will be a deal breaker for the car. Because I drive 200 miles a day.

2017 Outback Ltd 2.5i....

Does anyone have any insight? Thanks....

You give the forum no information about what you're driving. I assume a Subaru. It would help if you include the information about what you're driving in your profile. Also, some information on your options would help.

You sure it is coming from the radio? Could it be a "reminder" on your dashboard of perhaps "low tire pressure" or "roads might be icy" etc? Also, while not at 90 second intervals, the car will remind you when you have been running 1, 2, 3 etc hours. I don't use Bluetooth but could that be something it is searching for or possibly XM radio?

I suppose it could be the dash, but I have no lights showing up to indicate there is an issue.

Perhaps it is Sirius, but again, no messages or indications that something is wrong.

And it can't be the "take a rest" - I was in the car no more than two minutes when it started.

That's the thing, I can't find a visible reason for the *BOP*.

Thanks for brainstorming a bit. I hope a few more do the same....

I'm pretty sure you just go into your system and turn off sound notifications in your navigation, see sounds & warnings in your manual. I could be wrong though.

Is it the vehicle acquisition beep from eye sight? I think you can turn that off as well.

Well, the Eyesight has always been on. Except in severe rain. And it does beep at me, but the "No Eyesight" message shows up as well as the "off" dash lights.

Again, this *BOP* does not appear to be from this either.

I noticed on my latest errand, that the radio volume slightly mutes right before the *BOP*, so I have to assume the noise is coming from the radio and through the speakers.

Once again, thank you for helping me here.
