Thanks. That's a stock headlamp I disassembled and painted. My goal was to black out all the non-essential chrome, leaving only the actual reflectors unpainted. At first, I planned to tape and spray, but that was a disaster. The adhesion of the chrome plating to the plastic reflector was so bad that the painter's tape peeled it right off. For attempt #2, used a small brush and went with a jar of satin black Rust-Oleum. The results look great until you get up close and inspect them--there are some brush marks and defects from airborne debris landing on the paint while it dried.

Hey, keep seeing your posts and love that headlight you have as your avatar. Is it aftermarket or modded? I don't mean the different colored corner light, I mean the large amount of black between everything, looks sleek.
