    hey grossgary.
    happy new year!
i read in one of your post "check the bolts for that transverse bushing - the capture nuts they thread into can break free from the welds inside. then you've got a fun repair...or most people will just take it to a shop. i've got one under the knife now for this repair."

and i have the same problem, one of the capture nuts broke loose, been racking the ole noodle trying to figure out the repair, how did you overcome this dilemma?
any advice would be gratefully appreciated.
    thanks

Hi Grossgary. You have been mentioned in multiple searches and threads I've read. I am looking for a bit of advice, I have a 2001 outback with what appears to be a blown head gasket. If going OEM, what part number do you recommend? what do you recommend for valve cover gaskets, etc.?

    Hi grossgary,

I just joined the forum. There's a lot I don't know about the EZ30D engine. I might send you a few questions after I find an intelligent way to articulate them.

    Best,
    -Sam

    Sir,
I read a thread where you mentioned swapping in a 2.2L in place of the notorious 2.5L with head gasket issues... My question is, will the manual transmission from the 2.5 mate with the 2.2? Where can I find more information on this swap? I have a 99 OB that I love, but the head gaskets are blown. Thanks for your time.

Those tan floor mats, are they the OEM ones for 2000-2004 OBW? Is it both front & rear?

If so on both parts, I'll take them. Although I won't be able to sen the money until late next week.

    Rick
