Hello Lindseyk,
Walter Knight here, aka Kargok9. I hope that you are enjoying your training at Mother Rucker. As a retired W-4, my wife and I have passed through there a number of times.
Are you permanent party IP or are you in training? I'd like to know what you are flying these days. I'm sure that it's still great fun. I was a Cobra pilot/IP/SIP/NVG IP, UH-1 A (yes, I really trained on A models) B gunships, C gunships, D, H, UH-60 OH-58 OH-58 C+ U-21 C-12 driver. I retired after serving in RVN, Korea, Pakistan and 10 years in Germany finally retiring from the Presidio San Francisco and then going to work for a freight airline till I was too old to operate heavy equipment and mandatory retirement age 60. (since rescinded)
I just picked up my second Subie, a Tungsten 3.6R with all the whistles and bells. Feels like the 767, "what's it doing now?" But I'm learning.
Fly safe!
