Today I fly Boeing 727 jets [three crewmembers] for Fedex; Sometimes I think I am in the Fifth branch of the military, since it seems like everyone else but me wore a uniform! Fedex is 80% ex-military, so it is rare that someone like me who is 100% civilian pilot [flight instructor, commuter pilot, fr8ght doggy-dog...] winds up on the seniority list. I am treated VERY well! The military guys are always interested in my experiences and point of view. But sometimes they start talking amongst themselves: "Did you know (this person) at this base? I was there, and what about this (person) at (base), and sometimes this goes on for hours, all while they ignore me. I'm cut off, out of the loop. Bad CRM....

N!
While I was military(enlisted nuclear power), I then was comm/cfi/cfii/mei/atp->regional FO->furlough. Now I'm back in a power plant.
