I had to run to the post office out in Robinson after work today, so instead of taking my usual route home through town I hopped on the interstate because it is quicker. All the way through Carnegie (the town I work in) this guy in a brand new Elantra is riding my ass... bumper to bumper traffic doing 35 in 25... so I brake checked him a couple times and he keeps going. He follows me into the turn line to get onto the interstate on ramp, so when I get the break in traffic I gun it and unleash all 170 wheezing gerbils of fury. The on ramp has kind of a tight hairpin bend as you get on the interstate. I take it at WOT, my car is sure footed the entire way and doesn't show any signs of losing traction. Sure enough, douchebag is on my ass through the hairpin... then, he loses it. I see his headlights dart off to one side and I look back and see him headed towards the embankment, dart back, understeer and has to turn back the other way. When he finally gets it together he comes to a stop on the shoulder of the on ramp. I lol'd HARD.

Wow, I didn't realize Volkswagen and Subaru had formed a partnership. I guess the new Passat is just a rebadged Legacy...

I just got my "not wearing seat belt" sitting in rear seat citation thrown out of Court in Independence, CA with NOT guilty verdict. That only confirms several previous CA Court rulings that if you are out of State and are not familiar with local State laws the citations issued are questionable. Previous Court rulings like dark tinted windows on cars not registered in CA with other State's license plates, and such... Court's citing that it is a burden on Interstate trade...I am sure upflying will comment on above - thanks!

Set up an appointment to go take a test drive of a 2013 Outback 3.6R Limited on Saturday. I have no interest in buying one, but I would like to see how well they drive. They emailed me a quote of $32,988 down from the MSRP of $35,118. I'd be interested to see what they would offer on trade for mine.

What are you doing instead of watching the game?

at work with a wicked head cold. I need a week off. Looking for jobs in canada, no snow in MD in my area, this snow storm sucks. Need a nap. Looking to start my own business too.

Well, I was thinking of being a consultant and doing CAD/CAM work, or getting the funding to open a manufacturing plant for cosmetics. The catch? My wife wants to move back to Canada and I am not a Canadian citizen so I can't do anything business related until I get at least a work visa.
