3.6R Gen 4 Oil Consumption - No Issues

So many different threads on oil consumption issues, with some reporting issues with the 3.6R. So pleased to report that on my first long trip in my "new to me" 2014 3.6R......4000 klm after my first oil change, not a drop has been used.

Same here.

I have a little more than 22,000 miles on my '14 3.6R with no noticeable oil consumption.

I'm hoping it stays that way through the life of the car.

I'm glad the newer 6 is holding up, got 110k on my 3.0R and I rarely need to add any.

That being said, you should still monitor it. Boxers use oil by design, there is no way around it.

My other Subarus are Subarus.

You'll have to pry my frameless windows from my cold dead hands.
