I'm not sure what is going on but for some reason the website keeps logging me out after only about 10 minutes. Everytime I go to post something, I have to log in every single time. I chekced the 'Edit Options' from the user menu but there is nothing in there about auto logout.

Anyone have any idea? Or has anyone had the same problem?

Thanks,
Andre

I looked through the control panel, and I don't see anywhere to set any auto-logout time. It may be a setting on your local machine, do any other boards do the same thing to you? There's a local board that logs me out like that, and the admins said pretty much the same thing, it's no setting that they know of.

Nope... not a local thing. I also have my S2000 forums open 24/7 and it never logs me out. This only started happening after the upgrade. Before, this forums would leave me logged in even if I closed the window. When I would open internet explorer again and loaded up the page, it would still have me logged in, which was fine with me.

When you login, be sure to check the box "remember me." That should help with the auto-logout issue.

Just tried it now... we'll see if it works... hehe.

Thanks,

I was having that problem, too, when they first did the change-over. Now, I never have to login, unless I explicitly click "log out."

Hmm, have you tried clearing your browser cache, cookies, and temporary internet files. Sounds like you might have gotten something corrupted in the cookie that keeps you logged in.

I just got the same thing after taking too long to write a reply. "you do not have permission for this action, please refresh the page and log in"

I had the remember me button checked, refreshed the page, lost the entire reply to the post .... this site has gotten very annoying but hey, at least the screen background is BRIGHT WHITE and ... there's a bunch of extra crap I never needed anyway ;]

I give it ... two
