The color painter spray I will be used is Black Chrome.

^^ yes but at the end of the day, its spray paint and an easy fix :29:

And AltaBrig i too have the headlight/taillight/fogs Lamin-x and YES they are a somewhat pain in the ass install. I was stressed for a minute on mine but if your patient you can work out all the wrinkles, and use some heat to get the corners worked around nicely. Just remember to keep things wet and pull the vinyl so that it wraps (while applying some heat)
It will come with instructions too.. and looks spectacular :D

and to stay on topic.... Take some more pics of these grills! They look awesome, i'm definitely leaning towards this for my OB. MGsubaru's ob looks ****!

This was one of the first things I did last year when I got the car. Still love the way it looks compared to the silver. There has only been 1 spot that has chipped off on the grill, left hand side, you can barely make it out in the picture through all the dirt/salt/nasty. Haven't got around to fixing that yet. Used several coats of Krylon Fusion flat black, definitely worth the 3 hours I spent on it. Thought about doing the chrome portion too, but wasn't sure how, then just got used to it.

And yes I know it is dirty, and I already have a guilty conscience about it.

car id has a nice mesh one, get that and paint it. thatll look nice or keep what ya got. i dont know why car companies expect people not born before 1950 or those living in the south to think chrome, cheap plastic crap at that, looks good

lol, no idea. i hate chrome accents and painted silver brightwork.

since i wasnt impressed with the outcome of my 'diy grill'... i took it to the body shop i use and they are spraying it body color to match the car. leaving the emblem intact/the same.

anyone who has graphite grey metallic and is curious what the paint code is... it is F3T. if you have any other color and do not know the code, it is found on the passenger door jamb on a black placard.

side note, i was tempted to get a quote on painting the complete lower trim body color as well but decided to pass on it. i think it may look tacky with all the extra paint work.

back and installed...

Your car looks great! Exactly how my car is going to look, if the **** thing ever gets here. Placed an order for 3.6 Premium w/o roof on Jan 14th and still nothing yet. Dealer says they are checking with the port every week, supposedly checking with other dealers too. Told me it's on allocation to them. I told them I'll believe it when I see it.

Btw, let me know what you're parting with, I might be interested.
