Oh, I almost forgot to mention..... when you have your tires balanced and installed beware of dishonest shops who insist on charging you extra money for resetting your TPMS after installation. The Subaru Outback TPMS are self-resetting and do not require any additional steps to reset them. After tire replacement all you have to do is drive your car for several minutes and they re calibrate. My installer attempted to screw me with extra fees for TPMS until I let him know I had done my homework on Subaru TPMS. Typically installers on the Tire Rack website won't try to get-over on you because they don't want you to contact Tire Rack with complaints. They also clearly list all their installation prices on Tire Rack. Let me know how you make out with your decision. Personally I'd rather have my teeth pulled out, without Novocaine, then go tire shopping.! LOL.!

Hello again, you can do it one of 2 ways. Take them to a shop you trust or select "installer locator" from the Tire Rack Website and it will give you a list of locations within your zip code. If you decide to go with a Tire Rack recommended installer you have the option of having your tires shipped directly to the shop rather than having them shipped to your home then lugging the tires around with you.

Hello, Like you, I'm at 52K miles on our 13 OB and the stock tires are turning to crap. We do tons of driving and tend to really beat on our Subaru. We're on the East Coast and the winters are getting much worse every year so I've decided to run dedicated winter tires this season but I'm looking for All Season tires for the rest of the year. I've done some research and found that the 'Continental True Contact' have excellent ratings when it comes to dry and wet grip. Tire Rack has them for $116 each. I've read lots of positive reviews on light snow handling as well. I'm still researching but so far the True Contacts stand out to be a very reliable and hardy tire. I've owned many cars over the years and always dread tire shopping. Good luck on your search. Ed
