Good experience buying a 2011 2.5i with CVT. Knowledgeable salesman was a pleasant surprise; he knew a lot about the vehicle, admitted when he didn't, and found out the answers for me. Low pressure but attentive. I bought on the last day of the month and the Sales Manager gave me a no b.s. fair discount on the price -- and Subaru of America was offering 1.9%. Even explained how the "dealer holdback" feature works and showed me their factory invoice! The manager went beyond the call to arrange delivery of the car to my home 30 miles away. This is part of a larger Hyundai dealership, with their own small Subaru showroom. I have 2,500 miles on the car with no problems at all. Don't know about the service end of the dealership since I'm doing my own oil changes, and I guess any dealership has good days and bad days, but based on my experience, the negotiation and sale was actually quite pleasant. I've had follow-up phone calls from the salesman and a customer service staff person. Recommended.

I was at this dealer this weekend kicking the tires on a 2012 2.5 Outback. I got a real good feeling from this dealer. They were very professional and I didn't get any overbearing pressure like I got at the Toyota and Nissan dealerships. The dealer say they do a standard, no-haggle price of Invoice +2%. This seems like a good deal but I will check the other dealers in the area.

I am also curious what you each paid in the end as well. You guys do know that the invoice they showed you is not what they actually paid for the vehicle right. Not sure why everyone likes that CVT... I hated it. Getting the 6cyl. Anyway, what was the out the door price you eneded up with?
