Just had Kaylee serviced at Grand Subaru for the major 105k timing belt service.
Getting a price quote for all of the services I wanted was easy and the service manager was fairly prompt in replying to emails. The dealer offered a loaner vehicle while mine was being taken apart so I got to drive a 2012 Outback Premium CVT for a few days. Got a single phone call while the car was apart recommending a new thermostat (mine was factory original, I approved), oil change (declined, can do myself), repair loose exhaust heat shield (declined, can do myself), and replace burned out license plate lights (declined, can do myself). No pressure to add the declined services. They installed my supplied MWE axle for labor costs. Final price was within $50 of initial quote. Only complaint was that they topped off my winter wiper fluid with non-winter fluid. Annoyance only. Would do business again.

Another +1. First time I have had to take Kaylee anywhere since I got back from the dealer. Just noticed they repaired the damaged weatherstripping on my driver's rear door at no charge. Not even on the invoice.
This may or may not have something to do with the box of donuts I left for the techs/service department in the front seat.

Bought my 08 Outback from them and my wife just got her 2012 Forester from them. Both were VIP purchases. Been pretty happy with them. Chicago sales taxes suck!!
The Forester is just a few days old so no service yet but I bring the Outback to them. Quick service and not bad prices. I had an issue with the ignition a couple of times back in January and talked to the service tech who seemed to know what it might be (one of 3 things). The problem hasn't cropped up again but they were able to pull the error code and Ihave to get it back to them to try a fix (reprogram keys). Wish they had Saturday hours. |

I know John(Service Mgr) and Joe B.(Service Writer) they are both very good and every issue I've brought to them has been handled well and fair.
I may be back in there soon if they would ever get some 2013 Outbacks |
