Good-bye Legacy wagon

Maybe I am a later comer, but I just saw a news that Subaru discontinues Legacy wagon after 2014. Subaru will replace Legacy wagon with Levorg, which is a smaller wagon and will be announced on Nov. 20 at Tokyo Motor Show. Below is an introductory site.

SUBARU : LEVORG???????

Subaru will continue its production of Outback after 2014 (as we already knew).

Looks like it may be a restyled Impreza 5 door.

2007 I believe.

2003 Outback: "Kaylee". 143,000 and counting.
Basics: Quaker State Ultimate Durability 5W30, PureOne oil filter, Fram air filter, Valvoline Maxlife Dex/Merc ATF, Mobil 1 75W90, Michelin Primacy MXV4.
Mods: Fumoto oil drain valve, Phillips VisionPlus low beams, HIR1 Phillips high beam upgrade, Nokya Hyper Yellow fog lights.

Also: More rust and parking lot scars than I care to think about.

The concept of the true wagon/sport wagon/utility wagon...or station wagon is dying. It has been for many years. The SUV explosion of ridiculous compromises ate up all of the buyers. In some regard, We all ought to consider ourselves lucky to have owned a soon to be extinct species. The European design market is truly the only bastion of hope. Audi/VW, Mercedes, Volvo and BMW might be the only brands to produce these unique breeds in the future.

Subaru going the wrong way!
Been trying to get them to bring back the Legacy wagon in the US.
Just need AWD & not a jacked up wagon.
If I had it to do over again, no 2012 OB, would of searched of a used low mileage Legacy wagon - goes through any snow & handles so great. (Still have my eye out for one.)
