subaru in wreck of the week?

30 car pile up today on I-81 North of Syracuse,...near Adams, Sandy Creek Perriemont/ Ellisburg. (that section of road is really rural with few towns near the interstate between Syracuse and Watertown)

I think it is a black 2014 limited outback with spec. appearance package (as I can see the turn signal mirror in some of the pics and video).

Nope, roof rails aren't tall enough if you're looking at the one in the foreground on the left.

Warehouse fire in NYC from a few days ago,
(probably the big one in Brooklyn).
...hope @Dodik did not park his bike on the street.

____________

I guess it is a black Kia,...the other one with roof rails is a silver Hyundai

I like the link in EE's first post to the guy Ian's FB page. I was reading the posts and saw one that sounds like something I would say. His friend Fred wrote: People just don't know how to park anymore. Lol, everyone needs at least one sick smartas$ friend like me.

Set the Wayback machine to the year 2000 Sherman... when Little Red was problem free.

Exclamation 2003 seamist H4 smacked with ice chunk off truck

Man speaks out after getting hit by ice through windshield while driving on Tappan Zee | 7online.com

By Michelle Charlesworth
Updated 19 mins ago
NEW YORK (WABC) -- A 23-year-old was driving on the Tappan Zee Bridge, when a chunk of ice flew through his windshield, injuring him.

"If I remember correctly it was about a foot big," said roof ice victim Frank Kopicki.

Kopicki had no time to react.

"It came right off the truck at my windshield, a foot long by half a foot enough to cover half the windshield," says Kopicki.

Kopicki had no time to react.

One minute the 23-year-old was driving his Subaru on the Tappan Zee bridge, the next he was covered in blood.

The incident happened around 11:30 Monday morning.

The 18-wheeler kept going, the driver apparently unaware that a chunk of ice off his roof could have killed someone.

Kopicki says he was worried that more people might be hurt.

"I had seen other chunks up there - definitely a lot more," he says.

Kopicki was able to pull over in the middle of the Tappan Zee Bridge. Other drivers pulled over as well - one of whom was an EMT.

"I got at least a 2-inch gash in my head, was bleeding all over, was grabbing anything I could to put pressure on it," he says.

I think they will be able to locate the truck. Plenty of traffic cameras etc. there, to catch a plate number. Incidentally all those cranes in the water are currently part of the biggest public works project in the US today,...replacing that long long bridge.

and Frank if you are a member here (or not) or become one (or not),...glad you survived.

That's a 2003. You can tell by the gold badges.

Exact emulation may not be advisable.
