My wife was diagnosed with stage 3A, triple negative breast cancer early this summer. (Meaning it is also spread to the lymph nodes and is not treatable by the newer therapies like hormonal or receptor targeted therapy.)
My wife's cancer is also among the ~15% that is not visible in yearly mammograms, which she has always had, because it doesn't form a lump. I felt the differences between her breasts and we went to the doctor. It was confirmed by ultrasound and biopsy. My wife is making good progress with chemotherapy and the tumors are shrinking markedly. With effective treatment, and prayers from all, we are determined to beat this. Oh, and lots of hats and scarves to counter the temporary Telly Savalas look. In addition to supporting breast cancer research, you guys (and partners), are some of the best diagnosticians at detecting changes in your lady's breasts. Don't be afraid to seriously discuss changes you feel over time. |

I think a pink decal will look good against the azurite blue pearl. My wife is a surviver (11 years). I wouldn't wish chemo on wy worst enemy.
